You misunderstand.

With this forum having been reduced to a plaything for racists, bigots, and xenophobes, you rarely (if ever?) object to their posts. That's all. I have no problem noting that I haven't seen anything that makes me believe you're a racist, bigot, or xenophobe.

But when I point out in a political thread started by you about quarterly GDP revisions that a new quarterly GDP revision indicates even stronger growth than previously estimated, you throw a fit. Namecalling, false characterizations about what I've written, the whole deal.

My update to your thread was an odd choice for criticism given the target-rich environment here.

If ever? Since I just provided a link to a recent direct shaming of our resident racist troll, your agenda here is clear to all. Many times I have pointed out on this forum the wrongness of racial profiling by police. Many times I have pointed out racist posts. Now, out of the blue you claim that I do not object to racist, bigoted or xenophobic posts? It's pretty clear that your intent is a personal slander and a smear. Let's recap this. This was not started as a political thread. It was about the truly remarkable 1st quarter GDP revision. It was about Economics and Economic Reporting. You and others made it political. Now you post a minor revision to GDP and I point out exactly what it is....an insignificant change to a number already discussed. That's when you said:

...And I asked you to show where I have ever made any post remotely like this. And I called you a Liar....because you cannot show were I have ever made such a post. Yes. I should have left this one alone. I just didn't see how that minor adjustment in GDP was relevant since the nice Q2 rebound was already discussed. That's the only point I was trying to make until you went all Sharia-law and Racist Bullshit on me.

1. I started a thread about the largest GDP revision in years. I would have started it if it was a positive revision of that magnitude....because I have studied economics at many different levels. I thought it was an anomaly...an outlier and I was right. Nowhere did I blame your political party or our president. In fact, I blamed the weather.

Now you're acting like such a fucking political hack that you can't understand how someone could possibly discuss economics in a non political way. That's your problem, not mine.

2. You follow up with the 4% Q2 Number...which was a nice rebound. Which I also had predicted. I've got no problem with that. It was appropriate and pertinent. And something I had predicted....and something I certainly would have posted had you not beat me to it.

3. Now you follow up again with a meaningless Q2 adjustment which I point out as insignificant....since the 4% increase had already been discussed. Then you're the one who goes all ape shit. You throw Crap about me blaming Obama and Sharia Law for future declines...and then suggest I tolerate racism. Then sure...I called you a liar and an asshole...because that's exactly how you're behaving. I'm sorry you can't see that. I think you're blinded by your politics, but these are your major malfunctions not mine.

Tell that to the Wall Street Journal, which disagrees.

It found yesterday's adjustment, which had never been discussed here, worthy of a report on page 1 of today's paper. Above the fold even.
