For side trips into Utah, it's best to have AWD/4WD or at least FWD. But you can get those at McCarran easy enough.

Heading out this summer, from Texas, driving Route 66 from Oklahoma City to Kingman, AZ, then on to Vegas.

Will be driving a new Volvo C70 convertible which I got with this trip in mind.

Route 66 and Las Vegas, two of my favorite places.

Be careful driving with the top down on those long hot summer days.... that western sun will really eat you up.
