That ball is one-of-a-kind. First time in major league history that a grand slam was hit in extra innings to tie the game. Kids heal quickly.

It looked like that kid was in a seat or area by himself. I think we did not see what was happening seconds before the camera was on them.

Kids are too damned spoiled anyway, He probably had it coming.

If a kid is spoiled its the parents fault.
The kid didn't have it coming, he just didn't see it coming.

It is possible he was more focused on the ball & didn't see the kid. Hopefully he gave the kid the ball

1- My friend is a huge Cub fan. he would go to Wrigley & stand on the stree with his glove chasing down batting practice homers. One day he chased after one & ran into a light pole. Turned out the cameras were on & he made the ESPN not Top 10 plays

2- Same guy; while sitting in the bleachers a home run was headed to the row in front of him. He reached over and tried to catch it with his glove. He caught the ball but spilled his beer onto an unsuspecting female. He gave her the ball and bought her and her boyfriend each a beer. Being 6'5" minimized any possible retaliatory acts

3- I was at a game and a young guy caught a foul ball; upon realizing a 10 year old was reaching for the same ball he gave the boy the ball. However his girlfriend was p**sed that he didn't give her the ball
