Geting Ready For Sam's Town!

Haven't been there in quite a while since staying at the Silverton. Will be great to visit old friends and play in their slot tournament come May 2nd. $7500 first place prize, but I never seem to win those type of things. Trying to get to the Emerald level, but they subtracted over 100,000 points from my card. Just lost those points this week. Don't know how they rate their points nowadays. Now I have to get to 225,000 points in a 5 night stay. Shouldn't be a problem as I put those points on at the Silverton with no problem.

Then over to the Silverton on May 5th. They are having their San Gennaro festival during that time. The guy that runs San Gennaro has taken over my regular suite, so I have to go one floor down to 2062. Maybe it will be a change of luck to have a different suite.

Anyway, with my new laptop, I hope to give you regular updates from both ST and the Silverton!
Geez BAGIANT when are you NOT goint or in in vegas? LOL

My guess is that the points as counted based upon what's been earned over the last six months, although once you reach a tier it is valid for twelve months. Is it possible that your 100K points were earned six months plus a week ago?

BAGIANT- I'm looking forward to your daily updates. Please use Sionow as the "Gold Standard" for daily reports. Now that the bar has been set you simply need to match it. Good luck in your tourney.

Bagiant,
Thanks for all of your detailed trip reports from the Silverton. I've learned a lot!
I'm staying there in early June. I know there is a safe in the room but do they have safe deposit boxes in the cashier's cage?
Also, I'm staying in a basic room. Should I ask for a room close to the elevators or on a certain floor?
Finally, do they still have the Three Stooges slot machines? They are really fun!
Aloha,
Jennifer

Yes there are safe deposit boxes at the cage. When it gets close to your departure date, PM me and I'll see if I can get you an upgrade to a suite. Last time I was there the Three Stooges machines were right behind the Shady Groove Lounge bar. Wanted to play them but never did.
See you later Bagiant. Will love to watch your daily reports!
Thanks Bagiant. Have fun on your trip!
Aloha,
Jennifer
