Giadas Cromwell $100 Credit

Has anyone recently stayed at The Cromwell and used $100 food credit offer at Giadas restaurant? Had some friends who just go back from Vegas and stayed last week at The Cromwell. When they booked their room the package came with $100 food credit for Giada new restaurant. They never received a voucher at check in and forgot to mention at the desk because they arrived so late. Doe anyone know if you get a voucher or if it is taken care of while making a reservation or paying your bill. We are going in January with this couple and want to see if maybe they are still entiltled to the credit since they didn't use it last week..Any info is appreciated.

Generally, no vouchers these days, at least at the major properties.

Your friends could have charged the entire meal to their room, and at checkout the $100 would have been deducted from their total charges. I usually do ask at check-in or the players club to confirm that all parts of the offer (food, free play, show tickets, etc.) are loaded to my account for that visit/offer. And I carry the mailed offer with me just in case. Never had any problem, though.

Offers normally do not transfer if not used within the offer period.

If your friends (and you?) will book their January stay through a Host, they can ask the Host to extend a $100 dining credit with their stay.

Always, if you get an offer in the mail, call VIP, ask to speak to a Host (any Host if you don't already have one). Tell the one who answers that you have this offer and would he/she like to book it for you. Often the Host will be happy to book the offer because then he/she gets "credit" for bringing you in and for your play. And they are more likey to be generous with extras if they book you.

A possibility: if your friends made Diamond or higher (ending Dec. 31, 2013, or even this year to date), they may already be eligible for a $100 dining credit at certain restaurants within the CET system. They should ask at any Total Rewards center.
