Gig Economy at 25 million plus.

Not lately. These days, almost all my income is tax deferred and I live off tax free instruments. I follow Harry Chapins philosophy and give half my gambling winnings to charity, which gives me more deductions than I need.

Which people is it acceptable in your eyets to not pay their "fair share" in taxes? Just you, or just you and Forkie?

Funny you should mention that. Do you know what today is, tax-wise?

National Tax Procrastinator Day.

I put that off for another day.
From an earlier post to billy

According to the Washington Post, 2/3rds of the people who drive for uber in order to supplement their income. The same article showed that drivers in Detroit makes less than $9 per hour. In Houston it was $10 & Denver was $12. So in Detroit in order to make the uber advertised income of $1k per week they would have to work over 100 hours per week.

Not the fastest way to reach one's hope & dreams.

Ill give this to hoops. He sticks to his guns. Often mistaken but never in doubt.
What is incorrect?
If the Washington Post was to say the average home in Detroit sells for $78,000 and one is Houston sells for $85,000, would you feel comfortable stating all homes in the U.S. sell for $78,000? You have now stated twice that uber drivers make $9. Drive an SUV in Vegas and it's more like $500 a day before expenses.
You also confuse take home pay with gross pay. An Uber driver can easily make $1,000 in
a week, but not take home nearly half of that. When telling someone your salary, is it your gross pay or your take home pay you discuss.
