Good one, I guess that's the problem too. Stay away from the alcohol Boiler . You don't want people to call you a drunk AND a racist.

Poor Gus Grissom, . . . the unluckiest Mercury astronaut.

DonDiego had the good fortune to be on the beach at Cocoa Beach, Florida to observe the launch of Gus Grissom, way back in 1961.

And he was also on the Central Florida Coast to witness the final Apollo Moon Mission night-launch with Eugene Cernan aboard in 1972. Apparently by 1972 the NASA scientists had realized it was better to launch at night when one could actually see the Moon.

GO BOILERMAKERS !
I watched my Boilers at a bar yesterday. I will not be consuming alcohol today, but thank you for your concern.

I used to live in Lebanon, OH, which was also the home of Neil Armstrong. A couple of my good friends were buddies with Neil. Neil very rarely talked with friends about space travel, and didn't enjoy being recognized in public.

I'm not sure if I could find it today, but somewhere I have Neil's favorite appetizer recipe. He was single at this point, and would make this for my neighbor's summer party.

I would say liberals, moderates and conservatives all have a hard time following you. But that's OK. That's what makes you who you are. #BoilermanSpeak

Yet it's Liberal policy that has crushed the American Indian culture, and now it's Liberal policy that is crushing black culture in America. With friends like you, why do black folks need enemies?

You racist? Oh good heavens no. You're just misunderstood like Archie Bunker. I say you're getting a bad rap, dear.

Monster, I find it odd that folks on this site call me racist.

Boiler, honey, I'm neither making an issue about race nor am I liberal. I just found it amusing one time when you said you were going to go watch the Boilermakers and have a beer with your Black friend Dom. Just thought that was odd.

My local state school, Stony Brook finally made the big dance after losing their conference final four years in a row. As a reward, they get Kentucky. They are a 13th seed, which tells me there are just too many teams in this tournament.
Did anyone follow the saga of St Marys? They hadn't beaten a top 50 school all year, and were playing Gonzaga- who theyhad already beaten twice during the year.
So they lose to Gonzaga, which based on that win cracks the top 50. Now St Marys, previously with no wins against top 50 teams, can now claim two wins against top 50 teams. Because they lost. Had they beaten them a third time, their strength of schedule would have gone down, but it skyrocketed with a loss.
March Madness indeed.
