I have a buddy who has Cubs season tickets. He was at both games in Chicago this week, and attend games 3, 4, and 5 (if needed) in Chicago next week. He booked hotels in both Kansas City and Toronto and will attend all home and away games, assuming the Cubs advance.

I wish that I could join him, but I'll be watching on TV instead.

So will he.

I'd suggest selling the Game 3 and 4 tickets and using the money to buy a big screen TV to watch the Mets and the Royals next week.

That's what I would do, but this guy has more money than I.

While I grew in the Chicago suburbs, I now live in Indianapolis. I was fully exposed to two sporting events with my team being trashed last night.................Cubs and Colts.

My team, the Dodgers, got beat by the Mets, but not as badly as the Cubs are losing. Only one team in MLB history came back from a 3-0 deficit and that was the Red Sox. With the pitchers that the Mets have, there is no way that is going to happen. Chicago is going to want to try to save face and not be swept.
HEY CUBBIES!!!! GUESS WHAT!!!!!! YOU'RE

Let's Go Mets!

The Cubs have the makings of a very good team though.
