Great report.....even locals can learn from you. I've been addicted to KSHP and so glad you mentioned some of the restaurants they offer. Next time, let us know you're coming in...we're only a stone's throw from South Point. Also, don't forget to check out www.vegas4locals.com. Fantastic report. Great Pictures. Who needs buffets when you can be eating New Mexican-style slow cooked pork simmered in red chili and served over rice?

So what was the problem with the restaurant.com certificate?

Sira Thai had only recently signed up with restaurant.com and the owner/manager may not have fully realized what she was getting into. She obviously changed her mind after our visit because, as I mentioned in the TR, we received notification shortly after returning home that the restaurant was no longer participating in restaurant.com and if we hadn't already used or certificate we could get a credit.

It is probably a good idea to either call ahead or on entering tell some member of the restaurant's staff you will be using a gift certificate. I did bother because the discount was only for $10 so it would not have been a big deal if they ended up refusing the certificate.
