Gold Coast

I got a great deal at Gold Coast, $59 weekends, $24 weekdays. How's the stay?
My wife and I stayed there on Friday/Saturday the 13, 14th of July 2012.

The room: Basic digs. Clean. Flat screen TV. Modern decor, small bathroom.

The Casino: No frills. The VP odds are better than the strip and the penny slot selection is decent.

They offer a free shuttle that runs from Gold Coast ==> Orleans ==> Bill's Gambling Hall ==> Gold Coast

Location is close enough to walk to Rio or the Palms.

Overall it is a decent stay. If you have a specific question send me a PM or ask on here.
Stayed there last year, great value. Friendly staff. Cortez Room had above average food and nice ambience. No crowds or loud music, very relaxing. Liberal drink service a plus. Rio and Palm next door for a change of pace. Live entertainment in seperate room each nite on weekends. Perfect for non clubbers and folks that dont need to be pampered.
Ah Gold Coast

My Las Vegas guilty pleasure!

My first ever trip to Vegas was a cheapy deal from a UK travel agent. Flew out with my old man from the UK to Vegas. Hotel was not known and was allocated on arrival. $550 for the week including airfare, hotel and hire car.

Lol - we knew nothing about Vegas - I mean nothing but we both love playing cards. It was for my 21st birthday.

Landed and got sent to the Gold Coast - 21years old and not worldy wise we landed at the Gold Coast and I was in awe. I remember saying to my old man "we have hit lucky because this must be the best hotel in all Las Vegas". Ha Ha how funny.

We never left the hotel for the 1st three days because we couldnt see there been anything better to go too - oh the shock when we found the strip and found every hotel we went into was better than the one before and all better than the Gold Coast.

Still it was one of the best trips to Vegas I've had.

Probably doesnt help you make an informed choice but I thought I'd share it. Still go to visit the casino every year we return to Vegas and still enjoy it in there a lot.

Never stayed there but was invited up to a room for a while...hee hee

Very standard rooms. But remember you're not in your room that much so it's a great deal. Always enjoy playing in the casino and free shuttle to Orleans. Pass on the buffet though.
never been there. I need a little pampering
