Gold

I was wondering, does anyone here buy gold, silver, whatever? I've been thinking about it and gave ebay a quick scan. Seems like there's some reputable sellers on there, anyone evr buy bullion of ebay? I stopped at a local "gold and collectible" local place a month or so ago, turns out more collectibles than gold. Some really cool kreugarands tho. I abstained.

Testing the waters, see if anyone else is thinking of stashing a little something.

not me....but I hear there can be a huge mark-up on "collectable coins" so bullion is the way to go. I'm not sure if I trust Ebay for such and item and the pricing I see looks to be above market. Ebay lowest = $1159.69/ounce and sport market it $1089.30 - a mark-up of 6% - 7%.

I know, it's why I'm asking. Best I see on Ebay is troy oz for 1151. I have reservations for sure bt there are tens of thousands satisfied buyers I was curious, that's all.

Be sure to look into all regulations and laws as they pertain to bullion and coins and the differences thereof.

Do your due diligence as to buying, keeping and selling both as an independent investor and client. Then read some more about it. Afterwards realize that you still don't know enough and get even more information.

YES! I buy and sell gold bullion on Ebay.
The 10% commission is kinda steep for sellers but buyers just pay what it's listed for.
I got 5 1 OZ. bars last year for around $1,200 each.Had to sell 2 last week for $1,090 including PP and Ebay fees.

$1,100 per ounce in bullion is a good deal.
Gold is down right now.So is silver.
I have 5 bars of gold and about a pound of silver proof dollars left.
