One of the big problems with many of these downtown casinos is that they sit on several different properties and the casino doesn't own the land. Its hard enough dealing with one landlord, imagine having to deal with a half dozen or more. That was the driving reason why first Harrahs and then Mountaineer dumped Binions. The 4Queens could deal better because most of the folks who own land under Binions already owned land under the 4Q so they had a working relationship.
Hopefully, its a small step in the right direction.
