Golden Gate's $25 matchplay coupon

In the Las Vegas magazine they have a $25 matchplay at Golden Gate. Has anyone tried to use one? The coupon doesn't specify "for new sign ups only." I already have a slot club card there (club 1906, I believe it is what it is called) and I'm skeptical they'll say it is only for new sign ups only. I have obtained a magazine with the coupon affixed from the Orleans hotel so if I have time I might trek on over to the Golden Gate to try to redeem it.

I've had a player's card from Golden Gate for several years. I used the coupon last month with no problem. You end up going to the cashiers cage and they give you a $25 matchplay chip. Easy process, no hassles. The D Casino also has a promotion that if you bring in your boarding pass from Spirit Airlines within 24 hours of your flight, they will give you $50 in matchplay chips (2 x $25). I plan to try that promotiion next week.

Where do I get these Las Vegas magazines?
Ditto on BIGLAR's post.
If you are a current card holder they also put $10 on your players card for slot play each month. You have to go to the players club desk to activate it, its not cumulative.

They used to give you copies of that magazine free in your rental car...and some hotels gave them to you as well. I don't recall seeing one in a couple years, however. you can see the entire magazine online at their website...including the coupon...but I don't know if they accept a home printed copy of it.

I suspect if you look around the airport you can find them. But any insight into a known location would be appreciated. Thanks for the heads up on this!
The California hotel (as well as the Orleans) both have it in their rooms. I haven't tried using it yet though. I will report back when/if I get to use it. And thanks CowboyKell on the information of the free $10 per month in free slot play, that's more incentive for me to get on over there.

I got lucky and turned the $25 match play into $230 playing roulette. At first I placed $26 (including a $1 bet for the dealer) plus the match play voucher on red. The dealer said no money plays and lucky for me because the ball landed on black. The next game I put my bet again on red, it won (including the $1 bet for the dealer). Then I changed one green chip into five red chips and put it on single numbers. I then heard the dealer say "yeah!" One of my numbers, the number 24 had hit ($175, I believe). I colored up and booked it on out of there (lol). I'm not much of a gambler, I'm too chicken to keep pressing.

Anyway, I had inquired with the slot club about the $10 monthly slot club promotion. Apparently it is only for higher tier members. I hadn't played enough to qualify for that promotion. Also, I asked if the $25 matchplay is a one time only deal or monthly or yearly, etc.. The slot club person said it is one per magazine offer per person. She said I could still use the coupon from the Vegas To Go magazine. Hope this information helps.

Edited to add that it is a matchplay chip (not voucher as I wrote above). The matchplay chip is quite larger than the regular chip. Just wanted to clarify this information.
I obtained my coupon from the Vegas 2 Go magazine. There is a big rack of these magazines in front of the Harrah's gift shop, across from the registration desk.

Great play on a matchplay!!

I didn't realize I was a higher tier player I rarely ever play slots and only there with the promotion. We do play a lot of $5 BJ, Let it ride and Pai gow at the GG. The wife says the $10 slot promotion was just for Oct., Nov., and Dec. $10 each month. Sorry for the misleading info.
