Golden Nugget Buffett Closed for Remodeling

Hope that is the real reason and not because of too many bugs.
Hopefully they will start with a new chef---an a complete overhaul of the food. This would be a step in the right direction. This buffet was so much better (food quality and selection) when it was downstairs. Cannot believe that Landry's being restaurant people allowing this to happend. Grotto's--Vic and Anthony's great Carson Street has slipped over the past year. Never tried the Chart House. About the only meal we ever eat there is breakfast and it hard to screw breakfast up however sometimes that is questionable. Even the employees will say it not what it should be.

I agree their restaurants have slipped. I had a salad at Grotto in December and it was straight out of a plastic bag..you could taste the preservatives....and then there were the roach issues in the diner. Yyyck.

its pretty said when the 2-star properties next door have better offerings.

I agree on the GN buffet. I remember we were somewhat stoked to eat there last time DT and were disappointed. It wasn't so much that the food was inedible or anything, just that it was avg at best.

I agree that it was much better when it was downstairs. I eat there often for convenience but it is probably not even average.
