Playing quarter FPDW progressive at the Palms. Sat next to a lady who had no clue how to play. She would keep a bare Ace. Saw her keep 2 pair. Her husband would be giving her some hints but I don't think he a clue either. I put $100 in and was down to around $50 when I was delt a deuce and drew the other 3. The lady congratulated me and I told her that I didn't expect to draw 3 deuces and was suprised. I told her if I was delt 3 deuces you get a little excited looking for the 4th. 4 hands later I was delt 3 deuces, I paused and drew the 4th deuce. 4 deuces twice in 5 hands. Cool. A minute or two later the lady ran out of money and left and my wife showed up and sat down next to me. She is learning to play and only plays next to me. Within 5 minutes, I'm delt 4 to the royal missing the King. I drew the King. I won the progressive jackpot for $1026.50. Within 10 minutes I had hit the deuces twice and a royal. I don't think I will be that lucky playing video poker again. But I'm enjoying the moment.
