Goodbye Las Vegas, it's been fun! Moving away.....

After 6 years here in Vegas with a casino group, I resigned my position. Today was my last day - I'm really going to miss it here, as well as the people I've worked with. My wife and I fly out on 3/25, and won't be back for at least a year.

I haven't been a prolific poster on LVA, but did manage to run into one member (Bagiant) when I sat next to him at Silverton and recognized him from his photo online. I've probably bumped into or spoke with a few other members over the years, but never asked.

Anyway, I'm going to remain a member, just to keep up with everything that goes on here in Las Vegas - I may return some day. In the meantime, if anyone ever finds themselves in the gambling hub of the world - Macau, China - shoot me a message!

You're moving to China?? wow, that's quite a leap. I'll bet you'll be back.

I suspect many on these boards would enjoy an occasional Macau-centric insight or tidbit... even from a non-prolific poster. Bon voyage.

Thanks everyone, I'll post after we get there. Should be amazing - the Venetian Macau is the 5th largest building in the world, and has gondolas on three floors. City of Dreams, Wynn Macau, MGM, Grand Lisboa, Altira, etc all look amazing online. Going to be an adventure.

My wife and I get a plane ticket back to Vegas every year, along with a month's vacation, so we'll be able to keep up with new developments here, hopefully. I just wish they had finished Slotzilla before we left! It's about a year behind schedule at this point.

Heading to Laughlin for the weekend, then to Rio Sunday night, and downtown on Monday night. Not sure what we're doing this week, as there isn't a stick of furniture in our house right now - we might be camping out for a few days on the floor.
