As some of you know I was told about a year ago that I had cataracts by an optometrist. Since my Obamacare didn't have any in network Opthamologists that performed surgery I couldn't do anything about it. My eyes have continued to deteriorate. I even have to blow up the text real big on the computer now. Today I saw the eye surgeon. I was there for four hours and had a bunch of tests done and then redone.
He told me I don't have cataracts and he thinks he can rehabilitate my vision without surgery. He said my corneas are warped, and that is causing my problems. I got a new prescription for glasses plus a bunch of eye drops. In a month I am getting hard contact lenses which he says should smooth out the distortions in my corneas (they are bumpy like a road marred with potholes) and hopefully give me crisp vision again.
