Gotta share this!!

Sorry to hear about the loss, but I agree with the rest of the people. I wish some luck for you and your son and thank him for his service.
Your son and all the men and woman injured in battle deserve to get every thing possible. God Bless Him.

Hey,may drink one of those beers, please?

Forward this Thread and Replies to the Management of Foxwoods. Your Son is an American Hero, They should step up and "Do the Right thing" Honor him for his Sacrifice to this Great Country. I'm Sure they could afford some sort of Complimentary Cash Prize . And Just think about the Great PR they would recieve

I would like to thank you for all of the replies to this post, I have passed them along and he is enjoying them. Its amazing how many people want to help disabled vets! I posted once before about bringing him to Las Vegas (May of 2013) and LVA'er Marko62 sent him $20! You are the coolest bunch ever!

Your son is already a winner. He is alive and surrounded by the people that love him most in the world. The contest was just one of many great experiences that will come his way in the year ahead...focus on those and hold on to each other. Thank him for his sacrifice and his valor, and tell him to hang tough...this is the season of hope. k

I'd toss in a few bucks for his next gambling excursion, be happy to do it.

Thanks but I think his gambling days will be few and far between for a while. He doesn't have a lot of money and I preach to him not to gamble with money that you cant afford to lose, that's why the "free" football contest was so cool.
He recently started getting VA benefits and social security checks so we should be able to get him on the straight and narrow financially slowly but surely, but he is going to have to learn how to live on a fixed income and save a little before he heads off to a casino again.
BUT..........maybe we could do a member meet sometime late in 2015 or early 2016 and you could buy him a drink? I am sure he would get a kick out of that!

thanks again weggie

I'll buy him two
It would be great to get a member meet going. Actually didn't we meet once already, at brewpub MSS. Had to arrange the meet for after dialysis? It was 3-4 yrs ago I believe(I apologize, my memory is pffft!).
Your memory is spot on, we did meet a few years back at the MSS. I got an e-mail from another member who took pictures of all of us somewhere.
