The Gouging continues...

According to today's "Question of the Day", in room refrigerators are the topic - who has them, whether free or for a fee. If you need a refrigerator during your visit, you might check out which casinos have them and the cost. I was amazed at the greed. As far as the ripoff "resort" fees are concerned, an in room refrigerator SHOULD be one of the items the resort fee includes.
I have not traveled "in awhile", however, when I made reservations, and at check in, I always told them I need a refrigerator to store my insulin. Never had to pay, always had one.

When Drmilled sells a home, does he attempt to "gouge" the buyer for every last penny? Of course he does! I attempt to gouge the buy, and so does everyone else. The sellers goal is always to sell high, while the buyer goal is always to buy low. You are just as greedy as the big Vegas casino owners, so you might consider looking into the mirror and stop whining.

So...would you lie to the buyer? Would you cover up deficiencies like faulty wiring? Would you use trickery to sell? Fraud? How greedy are you?

No, I would never lie to a buyer. Hell, a dozen years ago I shook hands with a buyer of some land that I was selling at $76,000. A previous buyer who had low balled me called back and offered my $86,000 to walk away from my handshake, and I refused. No shady deals with me.

Everyone is screaming about lack of transparency, yet everyone knows about the resort fee.

Back to the topic. The Paris rooms I have stayed in all have refrigerators in them so there was no cost. When we stayed at Bally's they were happy to bring us free fridg for my "insulin" and all it cost was a tip to the guy who brought it up.
Faking a disability or an illness to get a special treatment or benefit is both grossly immoral and despicable.

So move your car Chilcoot.

All I've had to do is tell them I have prescritions that need refrigerated. I actually have a load of scrips, but they have never ever asked to see anything. I suppose if someone didn't mind being a little dishonest and wanted to "GET ONE OVER ON THE MAN", it's only a phone call away.
I pack a small or medium sized collapsible cooler in my luggage and fill it from the ice machine. it works for soda, water, beer and meds. and it can also re-chill the ice packs. if the fridge rental was no more than $10 per day I might spring for it.
