The Governator 'fesses up

Former Republican Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger has acknowledged that he fathered an illegitimate child with a member of his household staff.

In a very classy move, the former Governator issued this statement: " I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and dissapointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry. I ask that the media respect my wife and children through this extremely difficult time. While I deserve your attention and criticism, my family does not."

Arnold always was a class act, my favorite Republican. I can easily forgive him, and I do. Obviously, it is a different story for Maria Shriver, who is also a class act. Heartbreaking, though.

I only hope he does the right thing by this child and the mother, but I am sure he has and will continue to do so.

I always loved Arnold. The guy did some great Science Fiction/Action/Thrillers: The original Terminator , Total Recall, Eraser, The 6th Day, True Lies, The Running Man, Predator and Commando.


I don't think anyone should be surprised he is a womanizer in almost any interview he did prior to becoming governor that is just how home comes across. My advice to Maria would be the age old you can't turn a whore into a housewife. (goes for a man or a women)
