It is a slippery slope when one begins to justify bad behavior by comparing it to others. Lying is lying. Cheating is cheating. Stealing is stealing. This is not a political thing it is about doing the right thing and having integrity.

How can one compare Clinton to the Jackie Robinson baseball team? The only comparison I can make is they broke the rules and lied about. One is no better than the other and neither would have admitted it until caught red handed.

forushV, the boom that happened during the 1990's IMHO was due to economic rules, regulations, and policy's put in place during the 1980's under the leadership of the greatest President of MY lifetime...... Ronald Reagan. The United states economy just doesn't change because a fast talking southern boy got elected. It took years of good policies to take effect and show fruits of his labors.

I was in the military standing by and ready to defend us from that bullshit (so I put my money where my mouth is) and maybe if Clinton had kept his promise, even one time the terrorist may not have grown the balls to think they could hit us (9-11) pushing us into a war. Bush didn't ask for that "idiot war"....the bad guys did!
As for my claim of Clinton lying under oath to congress, it is well known that Billy Clinton was impeached by the House of Representatives on two charges, one of perjury and one of obstruction of justice, on December 19, 1998. Two other impeachment articles, a second perjury charge and a charge of abuse of power, failed in the House. He was acquitted of both charges by the Senate on February 12, 1999.
Every swinging dick in the world knew that the senate was going to acquit Billy as we (us Americans) had been embarrassed enough in front of the rest of the world. The house proved our point and convicted him and the senate ended our nightmare by acquitting him.....much like President Ford pardoning Nixon ended that American nightmare.
