Governor Pence finally did it (POL)

Dang. Arkansas just did the same thing. Now, the fed, and whole bunch of states have the same basic law. It just sucks when democracy works. So now I'm gonna take off my sandals, and put on some socks and brogans.

So, shouldst one assume that chafraho wouldst liketh to delivereth a rather bulky brogan to the buttocks of forkush?

That will make two if the Governor signs it. Does two make a bunch? Republicans have Indiana right where they want it equal to Arkansas in civil rights.

I guess you are a little late to the party yesterday:

Here is the Indiana Speaker of the House confirming Indiana Businesses would be allowed to post signs that said "NO Gays" or something similar. The Indiana Pro Tem of the Senate was with him at the time and acknowledged so as well.

Oh and there is video of it too:

And as been repeated more than once the Indiana law is nothing like the Federal Law or the laws of any other state excepting Mississippi. All those other jurisdictions consider sexual preference a protected class and none of those other laws apply to corporations. Indiana's law takes the language from Hobby Lobby and says that for profit corporations can have religious beliefs that allow them to discriminate.

Which molehill? Please be specific.

So Forkie is suggesting next Indiana will be hanging blacks, making certain areas white only, making those people of any color other than white sit at the back of the bus, and call all whites masser?...
Nope. Just that businesses will be able to discriminate against citizens, just like in the photo above.

Obviously, the federal RFRA does not allow that kind of evil behavior. People who tell you that the federal and Indiana laws are the same just because they have the same name are playing you for a fool, Boilerman. Very, very successfully.
They have no right to refuse to do business with us! Let's refuse to do business with them! Not just a select few of them, but ALL of them!

It is truly sad to see that the left in this country doesn't give a damn about the First Amendment...

I don't like the comparison of religious discrimination to racial discrimination. The gays are doing better than the general population by all relevant socioeconomic measures: income, wealth, crime, happiness, life expectancy, etc. So if there is homosexual discrimination, it's apparently not having a very big affect. The law prohibits discrimination towards employees, so it's only customers who are affected. Wouldn't the gays avoid religious businesses anyway even if the law wasn't passed?

So boycotts violate the First Amendment? Are you sure about that?

The Governor in Arkansas has refused to sign the bill. Indiana is all alone its bigotry.

Of course he's sure; he's always sure, he's just never correct.
