Grand Canyon NORTH RIM??

We have been to the Grand Canyon SOUTH RIM a few times - beautiful.

We're thinking of going to the North Rim this visit to the Las Vegas area.

Do you think it is worth the drive?

Would you fly into Las Vegas and drive there and once at the GC where would you stay. The lodge
is booked for the dates we want - June.

Our other ideas were to fly to Salt Lake City and drive from there to Reno (not the GC on this trip) and visit things in between or even fly to Boise to Reno. Airfare to Reno is $$$$

Thanks!
The visit to the north rim is worth the trip. The north rim is at a higher elevation than the south rim; more trees and cooler temps. There are several places within a short drive of the lodge for viewing the canyon. I highly recommend that you grab a cocktail at the lodge and find yourself a seat on the patio area in the late afternoon so that you can watch the sunset...very beautiful. Sorry, but I can't help with your lodging question. I stayed in one of their cabins when I was there several years ago. I seem to recall that there was a motel not far from the rim on the road that ends up at the north rim lodge. The lodge has a lovely dining room and the Rough Rider saloon is a neat place to quench your thirst.

Glasses can affect your vision; especially when they have been emptied several times.........

Spring Break 2000 !!!
The motel about an hour away is https://www.jacoblake.com/
I am going in September and was lucky enough to book in the canyon they go quick but you can call everyday and see about cancellations North Rim: 877-386-4383
