Great day!

Today was an awesome day. Booked our flights,leave dulles at 8:30 in the AM on the 28th and ,GET THIS,our return flight at !:35 on the 7th,we scored first class seats! WOO HOO,we've never flown first class before so what a treat and its on the way home,usually feeling a litte weary after a week in vegas,excuse me,9 days. Actually looking forward to flight home HAHA. Big thanks to my wifes boss once again for letting us use his miles.WOOHOO again.
I booked 2 nights at golden nugget to start our trip,sept 28-29,$155 total. I booked our 2 free nights at harrah for mon and tues nights. SCORE! Rest of time at p ho was booked awhile ago.
And..drum roll..just ordered my new samsung galaxy 10.0 from best buy. Gives me several weeks to play with it and see what all it'll do before our trip to LV. (thanks to malibber for great and very informative advice on the tablets). Also side note on this model,the battery life is supposedly 14 hrs,works for me.
I'm feeling all giddy like a little school girl

Haven't done it in a while, but I like flying first class on the way there rather than on the way home. Having a couple of free drinks on the way to Vegas is a good way for me to kick off a vacation. Depending on the airline, you should be able to check some bags on the way home with no charge. Also, when I have flown first with Delta, my checked bags were among the first ones out. They put a priority tag on it or something.

Sounds like a winner all ready. Enjoy the 1st class on the ride home..

John, That is awesome !!!! ............... First Class, I can only imagine since we always fly S/W which has no First Class seating.

BTW, Let me know how you like the Samsung Galaxy 10.0. I think that's what I'm going to get too.

RE;syrgrey.I'm still pretty sore but otherwise feeling good. Having this trip coming up soon has me in such a good mood,hard to bring me down. The only thing that would is if i had to cancel or postpone til later. This trip was kind of a goal,so i really want it to go well (scoring first class was such a great thing!,and I had just been thinking the day bedore that if we ever got a chance to upgrade on this trip,i would take it. We got 'em for same amount of miles too).
I will definitely let you know how the galaxy tab works out. I ended up getting the 16g for $500 at best buy. I'm looking forward to it,my legal pad i have at my desk that i;ve been jotting notes and stuff on it for some time has about had it.its a little dirty,chili and spaghetti'o drippings and other misc stains LOL. I went with the galaxy cause its a little cheaper and i heard a few of my wifes freinds weren't real thrilled with the ipad and i heard the warrantysucks. Looks it will do everything i want. The 32g was $600,so you can go from there.
