The Great Wall of Mexico

Boy, just seems like yesterday hearing the chants at the rallies: "What are we going to do?" "BUILD A WALL", "And who's going to pay for it?", "We are for now, but hopefully we can somehow get Mexico to pay for it, even though in reality there's a better chance of hitting 20 out of 20 in Keno than getting them to reimburse us for funding a wall across their border which will only move and serious operations of illegal immigration, but we can still hope it happens". Yeah, those chants were the best.

A couple of decades ago. Under the stretch of the wall that has already been built. You know, the wall that no one seems to think exists. The one that does very little in the way of preventing people or drugs from illegally entering the US.

How dare you bring facts into this. Doncha know we are in a post-factual world.
Double Plus Good.

Given how much federal spending is viewed as free stuff by the left, if Mexico doesn't pay for the wall, it would still be free. It is the government's money, not the taxpayers' money. The government can just print more if they want it...like they've been doing for the last 8 years.
Mexicans put a new roof on my house some 8 years ago, and they did kick ass. I can't recall how many guys worked the job, but it was complete in two days. Geez, these guys weren't big, maybe 140# on average, and they'd scramble up the ladder with an 80# pound bundle of shingles over their shoulder...........quite impressive.

I brought them as much lemonade and water as they liked, which they greatly appreciated. I appreciated their hard work.

...Is it Mexico to pay for building of wall or pay Mexicans to build the wall?

I hope it is pay Mexicans to build the wall. Judging from the way Mexicans in my area work it will be done way under budget and built in about a week.

My neighbor has a 4000 square feet under roof. Mexicans put a new roof on his home. They took it all the way down to bare wood and replaced quite a bit of plywood. It took them one day to take it off and one day to put it on. The whole job was completed beautifully in two days.

I have hired Mexicans several times to do work in my yard. To be honest the ones I have used will outwork any cracker, and yes I am a cracker, 10 to one.

True statement.
I can speak for myself and no one else. I don't any problems with Mexicans. I do have a huge problem with Mexicans that are in my country illegally.
