As I watched the game and decision unfold, the same thought kept coming to mind: Would it have become such an issue if there hadn't been $500 million or whatever, bet on this game at all the sports books everywhere?

It was the key play in the play in the game as it took away the cowboys chance to take the lead late in the 4th qtr.

Dallas bets still won as Dallas was getting 6 pts and lost by 5. There is probably another $500 million or whatever bet illegally on the game, too.

Yup, betting did not matter. Packers would have won on a FG anyway, they had plenty of time and the Cowboys were givin a TD earlier.
