Group of 12 - MGM Signature to Paris

After my daughter's wedding at MGM Signature Spa wall we are going to Mon Ami Gabi for dinner. The concierge suggested taking the monorail and dismissed my idea of walking. Do you think walking is really an issue? We could take taxis cheaper than the monorail. We have a party bus limo booked after dinner so we will have them drop us off back at Signature. Any suggestion/comments on how to get to Paris?
Ask the MGM to provide limo service as a comp wedding present to the bride and groom.

You walk out Signature Tower 3, go a block towards the strip and cross the street into the back of PH by the PH Towers. Walk through Miracle Mile mall and, if you don't take the wrong turn, you will wind up out on the Strip between PH and Paris. Walk about 5 minutes and you're at MAG.

But, it's a wedding. Take the taxis.

It doesn't hurt to try...but...all the packages at the hotels either include that or would be happy to include it as an "add on."

As long as everyone is ok with walking you might find walking through some other casinos a really fun experience. It's amazing how everyone in Vegas turns to friendly and smiles when they see a bride and groom.
As much fun as a wedding party walking through a casino sounds to me, I think I'd go for limo/party bus service to Paris. Getting through the casino sounds great. Walking on the strip with the unwashed masses (ie: porn slappers, dealing with lights etc.) might be a bit much. Most important would be how the bride feels. Run it by her and see what she thinks. As they say, it's her day.

Good Luck!

It sounds like a nice wedding and dinner are planned. A limo seems very appropriate to get everybody to the dinner, don't go cheap on the transportation on this day. Maybe the party bus can cut a deal for a before dinner drop since you are already using it later. If not, a one way limo fitting 12 is probably similiar in price to the 3 - 4 cabs required to get 12 people to the Paris. Hope you have a very special day.
Another vote for taking a limo to dinner. It's a special day, and it won't be that expensive. This is particularly important depending on what style the bride's dress is going to be - is she wearing a long dress? If so, she will NOT want to walk down the street in it! I've seen many brides doing this over the years and the amount of filth that accumulates along the bottom foot or so of the dress is beyond revolting! Spending any time in a dress that has picked up all that sidewalk debris in the hike to the Paris is not the most pleasant thought! It'll get pretty dirty from the casino floors too, but the sidewalks are just that much "yuckier"!
Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll contact the limo company that we have the party bus booked with and ask about the pre-dinner add-on first.
