I'll do you guys one better. I am doing some relief work at a local pharmacy tonight. Right now while I am typing, there is a Salvation Army brass ensemble playing Christmas Carols in the front of the store!! Give me a break. What's next?? HumBug.
Glasses can affect your vision; especially when they have been emptied several times.....
Jesus H Christ....now they have a children's choir singing Joy to the World and Away in the Manger.......somebody just shoot me...it's going to be a long Christmas season.
I've been working on my Christmas decorations since Sept 1st, actually started putting out lights on the perimiter fences. But have no fear, they won't go on till Thanksgiving. Only another 105,000 lights to go!

Are you one of those guys who has the really cool displays that synch the lights and music? Those things are the best, haven't seen one in real life yet. Can't wait to check one out one of these years.
Here in Dallas they actually have signs out that tell you the radio frequency you can listen to the music they are broadcasting which is synched to their light shows. I don't think that's bad, just not in October or early November.
Thanksgiving and later make sense to me. So Captain Bill, please don't turn on the lights any earlier...
I just love driving home at night and seeing the houses lit up. I pass by a pond in Concord where there is a lone Christmas tree that will be lit every night and it's really striking to see it out there on this small island reflected in the water.
As for snow, can we please set a limit of 1-2 inches per storm?? That's enough to make it pretty, and not enough to impede driving.
