Hakkasan at the MGM Grand charging guess $7,000-$500,000 bottle packages of booz!

I guess you chill it in a bath tub

So, do you think they have these large format bottles sitting around waiting to be ordered? Armand de Brignac is a very good wine but it is not fermented in bottles larger than magnum. Larger formats are custom bottled and should be consumed quickly to ensure their quality.

Oohhhh, I forgot. Is it safe to assume that the people ordering at these prices in these clubs wouldn't know or care about the quality as long as others saw them making the purchase?

I just don't understand the thrill of spending that kind of money in these clubs. I wouldn't even want to blow that much money gambling although I have for the lower figure.

I'd assume you'd be in a VIP room. How do you know so much about these wines?

Aureole had/has some very expensive wines at up to $10,000 a bottle. I asked the sommelier if anyone ever ordered the very expensive bottle. He said no and they didn't really expect anyone to order it but they did sell some of the $2000 bottles of wine which surprised them.

CowboyKell has posted here previously that he owns a private jet (an Eclipse 500 I think) and a yacht, that his wife was a law clerk for a U.S. Supreme Court Justice, and that his wealth is enough that, for tax purposes, he's willing to fake residency in Tennessee while he lives in SoCal. That's the sort of person I think would be more likely to have personal knowledge of very expensive wine. Seems consistent with how he's described himself.

It's a Cessna Citation Mustang and I only half own it. I no longer own a yacht, mooring costs are rediculously stupid here. I LOVE sparkling wine to the point of obsession. And, I'm selectivly cheap, it's a sickness.
I stand corrected.

And that jet is fantastic, wow.

Some people have more money than sense.

I think that could be said at all income levels.

I don't have yacht, either.

I usually drink stuff like Freixenet Cordon Negro Brut or Domaine Ste. Michelle Sparkling Brut or various other cheap stuff like Barefoot. Expensive champagne does taste a little better to me but not enough to justify the extra cost.

Not sure how where you live what kind of plane you have enters into the conversation.
