Halloween in VEgas

Has anyone been in Vegas the week before Halloween and the day of?
If so what did you do? Did you have a costume? What did you do?

Yes, and it was fun, love me some slutty costumes.....just saying

I was in Las Vegas last Halloween and stayed on Fremont street. There was a lot of talk about Halloween leading up to that night so I got a great position for people watching and taking pictures at the bar upstairs at the "D" casino (the vu) around dusk, it over hangs Fremont street.
The people that dress up so you can take pictures with them were out in full force, but the people that dress up for Halloween also had good numbers. Some people take Halloween to the extreme and have absolutely great costumes. I did not personally dress up in a costume but might consider it if I was there again for that week.
There were a few costume party's and contests held at casinos (I didn't go). I would not 'pay" extra money to go that week, but it certainly is a nice plus!

Been there twice over Halloween. Some VERY sexy costumes will appear. GREAT eye candy for most men !

just gamble at any of the areas outside of the clubs on the strip during halloween and you'll see awesome costumes.

I've been several times....one of the best times of the year to go to Las Vegas. Michael Jackson's Thriller and Oingo Boingo's Dead Man's Party played on the Fremont Street canopy is something everyone should experience at least once.

I (and a lot of my board members) go every Halloween because it is such a blast.

Two years ago I walked down to Fremont and Fourth to watch their Halloween Parade.
That isn't something I would do again as the parade was about an hour late and the "floats" were spaced about a half hour apart.

But Fremont itself is a parade.
Almost everyone is dressed up.
One year I had an elaborate witch costume on. It is hard to pack all that stuff so last year I just wore a boa.
I always stay downtown so that if I need a rest I have somewhere to retreat to.

What did we do? The usual, wander, drink, gamble, take lots of pictures!!!!

I will be there again for Halloween 2014!
