Those are the 'fluffy' Canadian Pancakes with Canadian Maple Syrup.

I've never had a bad trip to Canada, once I get past the border - where they seem to give me no small amount of hell for coming to work.

This is my experience too. My work there falls under the terms of NAFTA, so try as they might to turn me around, they always end up letting me in.

I ordered a BLT at a restaurant in Cache Creek, BC, and was surprised that the bacon was bacon bacon, not Canadian bacon.

My knowledge of the health care quality in Canada is minimal, and therefore I can't form an opinion. I do know many Canadians don't approve of their health care system. Plus, I relish any chance I get to post this clip of Paul Krugman embarrassing himself.
