Happy May Day!

Now there's a holiday that doesn't get much attention in the US anymore. I'm tempted to break out my maypole, but I'm afraid the neighbors will think I'm a commie.

I understand there is a big parade and "festivities" planned for Seattle today.

Are they gonna have a maypole?

My town actually has a May Pole for the first time ever. We just redid our biggest town park- put in a bandshell, public bathrooms, gazebo, and the whole nine yards.

I don't think you're doing it right Alan, you forgot the prerequisite sexy picture that must accompany any "Happy ***** day".

said officers to be fined five shillings weekly till the said May Poles
be taken downe."

One wonders if there Is anything alanleroyII won’t do.

First, we discovered that he enjoys cultivating a split personality (alanleroy/alanleroyII).

Then, we found out that he attends bacchanalian toga parties, and also likes to dress up as a giant penis.

Now, we’re learning he’s into May Poles!!!
