A few years ago we went on vacation with the kids and grandkids in the minivan and one of the stops was Gettysburg. It is an awesome place to visit(my 3rd time). Our last stop at Gettysburg was at the National Cemetery and we stood near the spot where Lincoln gave the Gettysburg address. To think you can be near that spot and think of the history and our greatest president(IMHO). Sends shivers down your spine.

Lots of angry, white guys hated that president too. What a shame they didn't have an internet forum to vent on.

That's right, democrats all!

With Isis rampaging thru the Middle East Obama spent his weekend playing golf.

New York Times, August 5, 2002

Before starting his game yesterday, Mr. Bush, his driver in his left gloved hand, took time to condemn an overnight suicide bombing of a bus in Israel that killed at least nine. ''I call upon all nations to do everything they can to stop these terrorist killers,'' Mr. Bush said on the first green of Cape Arundel, at 6:15 a.m. ''Thank you. Now watch this drive.''

Without the slightest pause, Mr. Bush turned to his game -- and hit his first ball into the rough.

President Bush didn't play golf for the last 5 years of his presidency.
Under Chili's absurd line of reasoning, there is no reason to change from Bush to Obama if it is okay that Bush supposedly did it. Chili needs to get out of that basement.

Here's Hoops quote. Go ahead and fill me in, PJ.

"With Isis rampaging thru the Middle East Obama spent his weekend playing golf.

Interesting that the only American who gets a "day" is king, not even the person who founded the country or the person who kept it from collapsing or the person who guide us thru the most destructive war in the world.

Doesn't seem right"

Before the internet, they used flyers. Like this one from Dallas, November 22, 1963.

yep and folks from the south at the time thought far less of Abe Lincoln in the 1860's. I believe they were members of YOUR party there Forkie....

Oh.... wow. I mean, really....WOW ! I just assumed you made an honest mistake in your original post and read something incorrectly. I've done the same thing in the past so I took it easy on you. But now...but now...WOW!

OK, Boilerman. I underlined the day Hoops referenced in his post that you later referred to as gripes about President's Day (see above) while ridiculing my "dog shit" remarks. Given your response its safe to presume that you either
(A) believe Martin Luther King was president
(B) believe Martin Luther King Day and Presidents Day are the same thing

I'll let you in on a little secret. Both (A) and (B) are false. But don't worry - I wouldn't be so vulgar as to classify your contribution to this thread as "dog shit". Perhaps "embarrassingly ignorant of basic facts" would be a kinder euphemism.

Yes PJ.....it is true. You are not exactly dealing with the "brightest bulb" in the lamp store when trying to explain basic and simple facts to the sheeple spokesman.

One would think that place of higher learnin' in West Lafayette would have taught him some common sense.

Instead, all we get from him and his ilk is hate, stupidity, bigotry, and blind allegiance to a political party run by two multi-billionaire brothers and an entertainment channel posing as a news organization.

Expect to hear some of the usual rubbish replies once the sheep are done tuning into Mark Levin on the AM radio dials tonight.

Here we go again with the funny pictures and jokes. Bush hasn't had a drink in 28 years.
