At 01:14 EDT today the Sun crossed the plane of the equator towards the Northern Hemisphere, making day and night of equal length, and signaling the First Day of Spring.

Up heh' in Appalachia it's mighty purty this time 'o year:

It's also lovely here in northwest IN. Magnolia trees are in full bloom and so are the crab apple trees.

This is the earliest I've ever gone to school without a jacket. This great weather better not mean a cold summer!
