Harrah's on-line reservations.....

So I've been hit with a bad case of early winter cabin fever; we've had 42 inches of snow in just the month of December so far. I checked my deals on-line from Harrah's and discovered I could get 2 free nights midweek at the Flamingo...sweet. When I tried to book all four nights, the free nights disappear and I am given 3 nights at $35/night and one at $17..WTF. I then booked the two free nights at the Flamingo and booked a couple of free nights at the Gold Coast (premium room) to round out my trip. Why would Harrah's eliminate my 2 free nights when I tried to book a 4 night deal? I would have preferred staying in one place for this trip. Would it have been better if I had called Harrah's and tried to get the free nights on my offer and the other two at a reduced or casino rate? What am I missing here? Thanks.

If you don't want to switch hotels, call them and see what they say. You have nothing to lose.

When I book a room on line with HET instead of looking at the offers, I click on the "reservations" link at the top of the page. I get better rates there than through the listed offers. I'm sure that picking up the phone and talking to someone will also help your cause. Yep, sounds like you need a trip. Good luck!

It's not HET any longer.

It's the same here. Even though my offers are only for 2 week nights, I generally get 5 week nights comped and a casino rate for the weekend nights.
