harrahs = ridiculous

with all the over the top promotion they do for "NO RESORT FEES" in las vegas, they never seem to acknowledge that for atlantic city, they charge an additional $5 resort fee on top of the mandatory fees they are required to charge according to new jesery law.

hate.

Cute ad.
AC is just overcharging wherever they can and always have.
The casinos popping up in nearby states are killing them, but they refuse to budge.
They think having the ocean and boardwalk is all they need to make themselves a different marketing destination at no extra costs to the casinos.
The boardalk shops for the most part are crap and run by a bunch of slave labored teen Soviets who see only a small percentage of their paychecks and rarely get a day off.
harrahs properties are the only properties in atlantic city to tack on the extra $5 resort fee.
just stayed at Caesars AC on sunday for one night on a comp. I rented a movie and when I went to check out they said I could not use my cash comps to pay for the movie. They stated this is a new policy put in place in M arch. I was in Vegas in May and had no problem using my comp money to pay for a movie when I stayed at Imperial Palace. When I checked out in Vegas I had no charges for a 4 night stay. One night in AC I had to pay the resort fee the tax and the movie. That is just wrong I should be able to use my comp money toward these fee's.

i was ignorant for quite some time on the atlantic city resort fees. i used to just pay the $13 charge and think "new jersey sucks".

then when the golden nugget began sending out email rates, the charge was less than $13 and thats when i figured out that harrahs charges the extra $5. i emailed them to confirm and they did. they also didnt respond when i pointed out that they advertise "no resort fees" all over vegas, but stick it to their atlantic city customers.

Well, Jersey stinks!
Yea, but they will never beat Lake Erie at it's worst.
Two cities two different biz plans...

Nothing wrong with that, most of Americans call it free enterprise...

Why does BP gas sell for 3.89 in Cleveland city, yet the burb I live in BP sells gas

for 3.65.

Don't like the fees don't visit the hotel,no need for emails, letters, phone calls, protest through your wallet that

will get them to notice.
I'll be at the new Golden Nugget tomorrow in AC. Purchased through Hotwire or else I'd never set foot there. Hope it's nice. Plan to spend some time at the pool on a very hot day, with a very hot date, with a very cold beverage in my hand.

Why do you say that?
