I'll be at the new Golden Nugget tomorrow in AC. Purchased through Hotwire or else I'd never set foot there. Hope it's nice. Plan to spend some time at the pool on a very hot day, with a very hot date, with a very cold beverage in my hand.

I still can't get past GN taking over that disgusting property. The last time I was there was about 5 years ago and it was by far the stinkiest, dirtiest run down piece of crap I had ever set foot in. I guess they think they will be competition for Borgata...that's a laugh.
Now on another note, I hope they have cleaned it up a bit, but I can't find any pics of it other than the outside and 1 pic of a bar. They keep going on and on about the renovations in Vegas. They should clean up AC before they open...not a good way to start.

Why does BP gas sell for 3.89 in Cleveland city, yet the burb I live in BP sells gas

for 3.65.

Don't like the fees don't visit the hotel,no need for emails, letters, phone calls, protest through your wallet that

will get them to notice.

How true. If I don't like the price of gas, I just keep driving. Then, invariably, when I come back that way again, they've lowered the price, to get me to stop.

I put the GN in Vegas on my shit-list after I stayed there a few years ago.

Now the GN in AC has a double whammy against it. 1. It's the GN 2. It's the crappy old Trump Marina, the worst property in AC.

Seems like they got rid of the Hooters. The pool looks like fun.

if the bp in your city held huge protests against gas stations selling gas for $3.89, when they were doing it in another city, it would be just as ridiculous as what harrahs is doing.

Snidely how was the Golden Nugget? The heat was oppressive here in South Jersey, but I hear they had a little bit of sea breeze at the shore. I haven't been to AC in a couple of years. "Fundsalow" and the cost of gas and tolls compared to Philly Casinos makes that an easy choice. I guess I'll have to make a trip to the Nugget when the remodel is done.
You can't beat AC on a sunny Summer day.

Then you still have to deal with the boardwalk riff-raff, inside the casinos and at all the shops.
You go to buy a frggin sub and they yell at you because you order it wrong.
Like a bunch of Soup Nazi's*. (*Seinfeld )
lol
I stay at Borgata or H.Marina and seldom go near the other side. If I do, I take a taxi or drive to valet at Caesars and that is usually to go the the pier shops and the great bar area upstairs.
I do hope GN comes through and along with B & H they build a beach on the marina side.

Anyone know this fact?
Borgata paid $1. for the property it was built on. They say it was unbuildable.
lol
