The Harvest of 21 July

Poor old DonDiego has vanquished the horn worm invaders; the employment of chemical warfare was unavoidable, but nonetheless regrettable.

In any case the damage was minimized, and fresh vegetables are now pouring into the kitchen. This is today's harvest.

Oh, . . . and a short time ago, there was an unexpected and rare visitor to the tree overlooking the DD Tomato Ranch.

Is this a great Country, . . . or what?
Thanks for the update... hope you enjoy the down to earth meal.

DonDiego thanks Blade for the pity-response. DonDiego accepts any show of kindness.

Lookin' pretty good there DD. My father in laws garden has really kicked butt, I guess all the rain we've had has had something to do with it.

Sooo...what's for dinner tonight?

J

Yum, Yum. I would love to have a good (home grown) tomato sandwich.
I wanta know why rdwoodpecker is hanging around DD's backyard?
Did anyone else notice that there was no EXIF metadata in them vegetable and birdie pictures?
