Has anybody been to the Mike Tyson show?

I'm going up in mid-September. I may have to break an oath of not going to an MGM property.

I saw him on Broadway, a few years ago. Had no idea what to expect and almost left after five minutes.
I'm glad I stuck around. After an opening song and dance routine that was awful, he settled down to rapid fire comedy and some great stories, almost all at his expense. He engaged the audience and had an incredible wit about him.
It got a little dirty at times. He was a cross between Dice Clay and Bobby Slayton, and his stories were top notch.
I also got tickets in September, heard good things about the show and the ticket price isn't too bad. fingers crossed!
He might be the most unusual person I've ever been around in a closed environment. I was working an NHRA event at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway years ago when he was sponsoring a Pro Stock Motorcycle rider, and Iron Mike spent a good 20 minutes talking to us in the media center. I was sitting maybe 10 feet away from him the entire time.

He is indeed a storyteller. Some of the stories he told were not possible, and he did on occasion make up words (or they were words not in any dictionary). He is entertaining, and he was an amazing machine in the ring. I still respect him, even though he claimed he road a street motorcycle that he had parked in his living room in his Las Vegas home at 300 mph on the German autobahn.
I saw that he also had a meet and greet after the show. He's not my favorite of all time but If I was "up" a hundy in Vegas and the show was running close by, I would pony up for the ticket and meet and greet. I am not sure I would see just the show

Hey Bob. The past several days I've been listening to the "Big Boys" fire up those NHRA beasts at Lucas Oil Raceway Park. US Nationals is about to happen, and I'm about to leave town without ever attending during my 19 years here.

I've always been in Vegas during Nationals, and currently I'm too busy with my move to attend. Are you out here? If so, I could break away for a few minutes and buy you a beer or cocktail.
