Has anybody bought or tried the Samsung virtual reality apparatus?

The commercials are very intriguing and I have the gut feeling this is going to be something big in the next few years.



In the scheme of things, they are affordable. I was hoping my local Fryes or Best Buy would have a working demo, but neither had one.

Best Buy Des Moines 2/3/17. A lot of people waiting try the two they offered. Neat to watch their faces and bodies react. I think I will go during the week to try it , less of a crowd.

I want to see if they run any ads during the Super Bowl.

They don't work on older phones. Couldn't use it on my S5.

I bought a cheap version off Amazon for about $20.
It was fun at first but the roller coaster made me dizzy and semi- nauseous.

Just like the IPhone I will wait for version 3 before I purchase one. Its a good rule. Prices come down and technology improves dramatically.

Poor old DonDiego has not yet mastered reality; he is reluctant to enter a virtual reality. Besides he has poor depth perception and a queasy stomach.
