Has anybody eaten at the Stratosphere's The Top of the World restaurant in the last year or two?

I went in the late 90's for dinner. The food was very good and the scenery was spectacular.

I would like to go back there on a future trip, but want to be sure the food is still very good. I'd be looking to do dinner and not lunch.
I almost went last year. I looked at their menu online...and im glad i did. The prices were outrageous. Seems like they price everything at a premium to similar dishes at other, higher-rated restaurants. Granted you are paying for the view....but id almost rather eat a better meal at Delmonico's and then just go up to the observation deck in the Strat afterwards.
Just go for the fabulous happy hour at 107 lounge.1/2 price appetizers and 2 for 1 cocktails. Plus you get free tower admission. 4-7 PM daily and a second go round 10:30pm - 1am.
We ate there last week. It is one of our "almost" regular restaurants when we are in Vegas. I will grant you that the food is not as good as it was 5 years ago but it is every bit as good as it was 10 years ago, just a lot more expensive.
The kitchen seems to be a stepping stone for experienced executive and cuisine chefs as they make their way to higher end properties and salaries.

I did look at the prices and the menu is very expensive. Ordinarily I'm willing to pay that kind of money in a high end restaurant. The yelp reviews are all over the chart, where some are giving 5 stars to others who are giving 1 star for food quality.
I second the Happy Hour recommendation. We went about 8 months back and enjoyed it. Cheap cocktails with that view is great. The apps were nothing special and made me vote against ordering a serious meal up there.
Since I didn't mention it I must 'third" the recommendation for happy hour. We almost always time our reservations to take part in the happy hour. There is (or was) a buy one drink get one free coupon in one of the vegas magazines that are here and there around town (forget which one).
Under a former sommelier the restaurant had a deal with Schaumburg winery and you could get a bottle of their sparkling wine at the happy hour price of $60.....no longer. still good deals to be had at happy hour though.
Went there last year for a friend's birthday celebration. The cuisine was not terribly memorable. Can think of a dozen other Vegas restaurants with more impressive food for the $$$.
