Has anybody here watched Bar Rescue on Spike?

Idiot owners are a big reason behind failing bars. A new coat of paint and belling yelled at for three days won't turn them into geniuses.

I liked the tiki bar that was on bar rescue while the beach hotel was on hotel impossible. That guy was getting double exposure and upgrades.

Did Kramers girlfreind the "soft talker" start up this bar? Are all the employees wearing the puffy shirts? The shirt didn't do well on the Today Show, no surprise it's a bad idea for a bar and grill.

I agree that it sounds like resteraunt Impossible and sounds like a cool show, I'll have to check it out as well.

I just watched my first show today. They were in Ft. Lauderdale at the Tiki Bar. Looks like they Ok with the changes although the owner didn't want to change the name!
Love that show. John yells a lot and has some crazy eyes, but he knows is stuff.

Last night was a Irish/German bar in Ohio. John took 3 employees to Ireland to the Guinness brewery to become certified Guinness draftsmen.(is that a word?..lol) They are obviously doing well with the series as I think that was the first time they did something like that.

I watched last nights episode also. John (or his chef) wanted the cook fired. I'm glad that it didn't happen. The guy had a lot of passion and looks like he will be a valuable employee.
I watched part of it last night, didn't hold my attention very much. It's another ramseys kitchen nightmare, rest. impossible, etc. etc.
Same story, guy comes in, finds filthy restaurant, inept owner/chef/employees, screams and reams everyone out, works a miracle and leaves it in a vastly improved state. I'll probably give it another shot tho, I obviously watch 'em.
One show with a twist that I've found kinda intetresting is MYSTERY DINERS on foo network. I think it's pretty interesting with the hidden cameras and what-not, get to see how the mice play while the boss is away. Some pretty crazy bar antics in a few.
