Has anyone stayed at the Cosmopolitan?

Wow, the Cosmo rooms look awesome! Why didn't the City Center hotels design something like that?

jenaphir, you DO know that Karen leaves for Las Vegas today, don't you?

neener, neener!!!

Sheltie, yes, STK is a steakhouse. Supposedly doing super business, and they stay open 'til 4 am, which I'll never see!!! We dined early one evening while they were slow (6 pm) and, bluntly, our service sucked. Otherwise, hotel service was beyond flawless everywhere else.

Our room was great, as you can see in the previous photos. Only comment would be, I didn't like that they covered the 'kitchen' counter with minibar munchies, etc. Ate up the counter space, not that we would cook, but we did use the coffeemaker, and their five dollar coffee/tea combo each morning. They have all those cabinets, EMPTY, they could use to display this stuff, maybe behind glass or just an opening (are you listening, Cosmo?).

For smokers, the rooms are all non-smoking, but an ashtray is hidden away in the desk, that I used out on the terrace, watching the fountains and watching the Strip go by. Damn, I wish I was there right now.

Nice balconies!!!

Jen, since I can't drink anymore, have a good hangover for me TiA.
(jenaphir last night draining the kegger)

we went to a bar with 24-oz drafts for $4.50

we each brought $25 to limit our alcohol intake.

we used up the last of our cash at 7:45, happy hour ends at 8.

then we realized the clock was wrong and it was only 7:15 so my friend pulled out her visa gift card and we didnt stop until ten.
I'm hungover too!

But back to the OT...

I booked the wraparound suite for two nights in May. It came with $100 resort credit and needless to say we are back-flip-thrilled about staying there.
The view from the terrace of 15195

The 15th floor is actually the 5th floor I think.

i keep thinking maybe i might spend my birthday weekend there.

but then i think of my alternate plans and i think i like them better.

but then i look at the beds and i get confused again.
