Has anyone tried Smash Burger?

I have heard good things about it but I have not tried it yet. There is one on Maryland pkwy right by UNLV. Not sure if they have other locations??
Ate at one yesterday for lunch,
that being said, it was here in MN.

Can't answer your Vegas locations,
but have eaten about half dozen times
and everything is ala carte, that's my
only gripe, they don't even offer a meal
deal combo, you order your burger then
your side item " smash fries " etc. then
your beverage, our order for 2 came to
$ 22.50
Wow.That's pretty steep for a fast food lunch.
We could have spent more if we didn't order the cheapest
side items and had bottled pop instead of fountain drinks.
Another complaint is the fact that when you eat in, your
pop glass is a plastic one that you don't keep " think of
those big red one's you get at Pizza Hut " so even at McD's
you can refill your paper cup and take it with you, that ex-
plains why I have never seen any teenagers there, the food
is tasty but pricey.

would rate it ahead of McD's and BK but I would rather have the Dave's W at wendys instead of smash.
How bout "5 Guys Burgers" I think that is the name anyway. They have opened a few locations around. Not heard anyone say if they have eaten here.
I just had 5 Guys fries yesterday. They are probably the best I've ever eaten. They opened a Smash Burger in Oceanside near a Wal Mart, but I haven't tried it yet/. It seems like their prices rival 5 Guys, and if that's the case, I'll stick with 5 Guys because I've never had a better burger or fries. Actually, I had a better burger....a Kobe beef burger at the Society Cafe in the Encore.
I've had it about 3 times in past year. Expensive and I still think In-and-out burgers are best.
I've been there twice, both times using a Groupon.
Even though the lunch for two people was basically half off, I still felt cheated.
Way over priced and we thought the hamburgers were really greasy.

Would not go back.

Better value and food at In N Out or Five Guys
The fact that you don't see teenagers there may be worth the bump in price, no? That said, I like the place. The fries seasoned with rosemary are great. If you're only going by price, heck, go to Mickey D's. The Vegas Smashburgers have the Sin City burger, which is pretty decadent - can't recall all of the ingredients but it's rich and filling. Finally, I don't really consider Smashburger to be fast food - you order your burger and then they make it from a fresh ball of ground meat. So it's not fast, if that's what you're looking for.
