Of course President Obama is being treated differently than President Bush. Bush had political appointees and horse show attorneys running FEMA; Obama has had emergency management professionals in place since the beginning of his presidency - remember Hurricane Sandy?

When Republicans are out of power they claim that government is terrible and incompetent, and when they are back in power they prove it.

Those who died in Katrina had plenty of time to evacuate, and chose not to. This current flooding in Louisiana came suddenly with little warning. Even though there are over 40,000 people affected, the First Blimp has told Obeyme that it is more important that he get in his 18 holes of golf instead of being a "REAL" President. Business as usual by the most worthless President the U.S. has had the misfortune of electing- you brain dead who elected him should be proud...

Obama missed the photo op and sent in a responsible FEMA team.... And Bush did the opposite. you'll know if Obama screws up the response if he ends up mailing a $600 guilt check to the general public of the affected areas - ala W.

I like it. People who create photo-op distractions and interfere with responders are not to be admired. Although as we see, sometimes stupid people cheer them on.
