Has Obama bothered with visiting southern flood victims?

I like it. People who create photo-op distractions and interfere with responders are not to be admired. Although as we see, sometimes stupid people cheer them on.

"I want to thank Mr. Trump for coming to Louisiana. I think the governor's admonition about not using it as a press op is a good one, but he brought attention to our state, and we need that now, because this disaster is far bigger than people can appreciate on television."

"And it is a really a serious disaster, and I hope Secretary Clinton will make her way down. I hope President Obama will make a visit and you know, we need all the attention and help we can get."

Mary Landrieu...Democrat. Former Louisiana Senator. Key leader in Hurricane Katrina relief efforts....And now....according to Forkush....Sometimes stupid.

Oh my...Here's another one:

Edwards said Trump's visit to the state was positive for Louisiana.

"Because it helped to shine a spotlight on Louisiana and on the dire situation that we have here, that it was helpful," he said.

John Bel Edwards. Democrat. Governor of Louisiana. And now...according to Forkush....Sometimes Stupid.

Nope, just playing politics to benefit his constituents. The state of Louisiana is about to ask for disaster funds from Congress and it wouldn't pay to dump on the Republican presidential candidate at this point. Want to know why Chris Christie hugged the President after Hurricane Sandy? Same thing.

Of course the National Review called that hug "The Night Chris Christie Killed the Romney Campaign." On the other hand, Trump's appearance will be remembered for the Play-doh. Once again it's the difference between smart and stupid.

THANKS, OBAMA.

So Mary Landrieu and John Bel Edwards are either lying political hacks or stupid cheerleaders....according to Forkush. What a coincidence. Forkush describes himself again. The Self Projection is strong in this one.

Nope, they're politicians. Dumping on Trump would have accomplished nothing politically - Louisiana is a very red state - and making nice will probably increase the chances of the receiving adequate federal funds for the recovery. Which will keep the governor's constituents happier, healthier, and in some cases alive. All in return for uttering a possibly insincere conciliatory statement. Heaven forbid!

I'll take an effective politician over a political independent any day. Politicians actually try to accomplish things, albeit sometimes in messy manner. Independents just stand back, do nothing, and criticize all sides in a lame attempt to be superior. An especially lame attempt in your case, alanleroy.
I remember the time an independent by the name of forkush spouted off about doing a "ghetto walk" and then crawfished and backed out - a lame, do nothing attempt by the ultimate criticizer..., alligator mouth, hummingbird ass lying liberal.
Bars shut down at 2am by you?
"Obama has had emergency management professionals in place since the beginning of his presidency - remember Hurricane Sandy?"

But even with his expert FEMA team, obama felt he had to visit the BP spill site numerous times & he visited NJ after Sandy.

He is now visiting tomorrow after Trump shamed him into going. Meanwhile clinton continues to what she does best; chase after money

Ah yes. Never even considers that two Democrat politicians could sincerely believe that Trump's visit helped the state and were simply being honest and thankful and not stupid cheerleaders or cynical politicians. True partisan hack. Man, that's the very definition.

And regarding independents...you couldn't be further from the truth. We want the two parties to work together to 'accomplish things'. And we try point out when one or the other is so wrapped up in winning at any cost that they forget the people they are supposed to serve. Unfortunately that's about all the time these days.

The other guy backed out. Go ahead, ask Ghetto Walk Commissioner alanleroy.

And I've never claimed to be an independent. These days most independents are clueless or lying.
