Has Obama bothered with visiting southern flood victims?

And as far as blinding following leaders, I attended caucuses OPPOSING the establishment Democratic candidate in 2008 and 2016 - Hillary Clinton in both cases. But you knew that, so you were just being dishonest as usual.
.
So you were against Hillary before you began blindly supporting her. If you were really honest you'd be supporting Jill Stein. You're both socialists and probably agree on every issue. Hillary is just another crony capitalist supported by Wall street with a D behind her name. But you knew that, so you are just being dishonest with yourself. Your loss....of any integrity.

Poor alanleroyII has entered The forkushV Zone, . . . and he cannot get out, . . .

forky is in favor of continuing the economic policies that gave us

1- the lowest 8 year GDP growth since FDR
2- the lowest adult labor participation rate since carter
3- 40m on food stamps
4- trillion dollar deficits
5- stagnant wage growth
6- bankrupt obamacare program
7- more free stuff to be paid by the undefined "fair share taxes"

Yes, things were soooooo much better on January 19, 2009.

If this election is decided on "Are you better off than you were eight years ago," Hillary wins by a landslide. I mean an even bigger landslide.

If you are going to pick specific dates, I pick Jan 1, 2008 & President Bush beats obama

To get a better picture you have to look at a president's 8 year record & President Bush's 8 year economic record beats obama in every category I mentioned

Yeah, the Floridians who made a symbolic vote for Ralph Nader in 2000 ended up with the Iraq War and the worst economic meltdown in 80 years. I think I'll pass.

If Hillary wins, I predict the following:

1. No presidential honeymoon
2. There will be at least one scandal hanging over her head
3. She will have the lowest favorable rating in history of any president to enter the WH
forky now admits he is a democrat hack wo will blindly support any democratic hack, no matter how sleazy

And when has that done any good. But at least you get to feel superior to both sides, which is the whole point, isn't it?

You know alanleroy, if you want the Shriners to stop wearing those funny hats, first thing you have to do is actually join the Shriners. Likewise the political parties. Standing on the outside and criticizing like an impotent gadfly accomplishes exactly nothing. (Except making you feel superior - did I mention that?) And speaking of impotent gadfly, if you're ever in need of a new user name, I have a suggestion.

Bullshit that independents accomplish nothing, it's the strictly partisan politicians who get nothing done. Notice the gridlock as of late brainiac? It's because either side won't budge on a position and all they do is bitch and attack the other side.
You are in a sinilar vein but much worse, all you do is viciously attack anything non-democrat whether it be right or wrong and defend ANY dem. whether they're an obvious crook and a liar. You'll go down with your last breath spouting your crap. Alan definitely hit it on the head, you're nothing more than a political hack with no capability of having an open mind.

I forgot to mention, independents are probably going to decide this election as well.
I'll answer this even though it wasn't directed at me. Unlike Forkie, I am socialist. I think having more socialism and less monopolistic capitalism as we practice it here in the US would be a good thing. However, elections are a compromise. You have to support the candidate that most aligns to your views yet has a realistic chance of winning.

I was concerned about Hillary, and it wasn't because she's too close to Wall Street. It was because I thought she would have a difficult time generating enthusiasm for her campaign, and that there was a good chance she would likely lose as a result of that. Then the Republicans came along and gifted us Donald Trump. The great thing about Trump from a Democratic perspective is he turns out the Democratic base to vote against him, so Hillary doesn't have to generate a lot of enthusiasm.

The next president is likely going to appoint three Supreme Court justices in the next four years. As a Democratic Socialist, this means more to me than any one candidate. This is going to give liberals veto power for the next 50 years over any crackpot conservative idea.
