Okay, I'll admit to being old. I think I've fairly tech savy, but I don't get these.
I went to an advance screening of "The Way, Way Back" and the moderator asked that we hashtag (#) the movie. I didn't know what he was talking about so I Googled it and it said something about allowing people to see your comments if they are following it?
Also, my neice has put up on Facebook that she's at a friend's in Long Island and then #something, @someone. What does the @ mean?
From what I gather, you can "follow" someone on Twitter by subscribing to their "Tweets". But do they come to you as e-mails, texts or something else. Do I really want to know in real time that somebody is doing something?
