NEW YORK (AP) — Shy bladder sufferers want DirecTV to stop airing a television ad where a "painfully awkward" actor Rob Lowe says that he can't urinate in public.

The satellite TV company suggests its critics should be able to take a joke.

IMHO most if not all humor is at the expense of some one else. Some of it is tasteful, some of it is not. If people don't like it they shouldn't support DirecTV instead of getting their panties in a wad.

The commercial clearly implies that shy bladder folk are awkward. Or is it that awkward people have shy bladders. Either way, Rob Lowe can go fuck himself.

When I was younger and dumber, 'disease' jokes were funny--AIDS, Alzheimers, etc.

Alzheimers has touched my family, so Alz jokes aren't funny to me anymore.
But I don't get all self-righteous about it.

Friend of mine ran out of flowmax (thanks Obama) and he had to quit drinking until he got a new supply. Now, he can drink and pee like a young man.
