.......have shot up to? I just checked on my friends flight in from Chicago tomorrow to San Diego, and it's almost more than DOUBLE the price he paid!!! Faye said she heard it on the TV that fares are going to rise at the rate of $5 a day up until Thanksgiving.

What the heck is going on in the airline industry? They can't blame fuel prices as they have seemed to have topped off and are starting to fall. They're already getting their extra "juice" charging extra for luggage. So what's the deal?

Southwest is having a sale going on right now. RT to Vegas from St. Louis is $129 each way on select days in Dec. and Jan. I guess it depends on where and when you want to go.

I just booked Delta out of Detroit to LAS next May for $240 roundtrip, non stop. Guess you have to book ahead.

My Southwest fare for December just decreased by 3000 points round trip. That's a nice chunk to throw at my next flight.

I just bought a $199 ticket from Phoenix to Baltimore for next month. Pleasantly surprised.

Booked PHL to LAS for Super Bowl for $150 RT on SW. This is the best fare we've ever gotten.
